This marketplace is aimed at providing end to end solution to the student community as well as educational institutions across the country to facilitate Internet-based ordering service through this Web Site. The service enables users to purchase school text book sets with other accessories like stationery etc., as prescribed by such institutions to the respective vendors. Upon confirmation of an order, StudentZone shall ensure timely delivery of the sets/products to you.
You agree, understand and confirm that the debit/credit card details provided by you for availing of services on www.studentzone.in will be correct and accurate and you shall not use the debit/credit card which is not lawfully owned by you. You further agree and undertake to provide the correct and valid debit/credit card details to StudentZone. Further the said information will not be utilized and shared by StudentZone with any of the third parties unless required by law, regulation or court order. In a credit/debit card transaction, you must use your own credit/debit card. StudentZone will not be liable for any credit/debit card fraud. The liability to use a card fraudulently will be on the user and the onus to 'prove otherwise' shall be exclusively on the user.
By providing your data, you agree to be communicated by us via email and sms to facilitate your navigation of and shopping from the website. We may communicate promotional offers periodically and as and when required.
User Conduct and Rules:

Prices for products are printed on almost all the products. All prices are in Indian rupees. Prices, products and Services may change at the discretion of various publishers / manufacturers.
While www.studentzone.in strives to provide accurate product and pricing information, pricing or typographical errors may occur. studentzone.in cannot confirm the price of a product until after you order. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information, StudentZone shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product, unless the product has already been dispatched/delivered. In the event that an item is wrongly priced, StudentZone may, at its discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Unless the product ordered by you has been dispatched/delivered, your order will not be deemed accepted and StudentZone will have the right to modify the price of the product and contact you for further instructions using the e-mail address provided by you during the time of registration and/or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation. In the event that StudentZone accepts your order the same shall be debited to your credit card account and duly notified to you by email that the payment has been processed. The payment may be processed prior to StudentZone dispatch/deliver the product that you have ordered. If we have to cancel the order after we have processed the payment, the said amount will be reversed back to your credit card account. Cancellation by StudentZone:
Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your credit card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed back in your Card Account. Cancellations by the Customer
Value Added Tax (VAT)/ GST and any cess is an indirect tax which is consumption based and is levied by the state / central government to be borne / paid by the ultimate consumer / shopper.
Due to change in syllabus or for any other exigencies, certain books might remain out of print at the time of delivery. Same can happen with other products as well for various reasons. While we try to ensure timely and complete deliveries, however; in case something remains pending, the same shall be supplied as soon as the same is made available to us by the publisher / manufacturer.
We will not be able to compensate for any mental agony caused due to delay in delivery of any such products.
Returns and Cancellations conditions:
StudentZone will accept Return only if the following conditions are met.
- In case the item you have received is ‘Damaged’ ‘Defective’ or Not as Described in delivery note / invoice.
- Return should be initiated within 3 days of order delivery.
- The price tags, labels on the product should be intact.
- The product should be unused without binding and in an undamaged condition. No name should be written on the same.
- An intimation needs to be given immediately on our mail id……….describing the nature of defect and description of the product.
You agree that StudentZone shall neither be liable nor responsible for any actions or inactions of the makers, any breach of conditions, representations or warranties by the manufacturer of the products.
Users shall perform their obligations in respect of the transaction concluded on this Site and further expressly disclaims any warranties or representations express or implied in respect of quality, safety, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or legality of the products listed and transacted on studentzone.in. StudentZone will not be responsible for unsatisfactory or delayed performance of services or damages or delays as a result of items, which are out of stock, back ordered, returned undelivered or otherwise unavailable. All items are offered only for a restricted time and only for the available supply/till stocks last. StudentZone accepts no liability for any errors or omissions, whether on behalf of itself or third parties.
StudentZone will not accept the Cancellation request once the ordered material has been shipped/delivered. Once a cancellation request is made, it will take StudentZone a maximum of two weeks to cancel the order and initiate a refund.
These terms shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore.
If any provision of the Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity or unenforceability shall attach only to such provision or part of such provision and the remaining part of such provision and all other provisions of these Terms shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Cancellation of Fraudulent/Loss to business Orders
To provide a safe and secure shopping experience, we regularly monitor transactions for fraudulent activity. In the event of detecting any suspicious activity, StudentZone reserves the right to cancel all past, pending and future orders without any liability. StudentZone also reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in scenarios like inaccuracies in pricing of product on website and stock unavailability. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed to your Card Account.
The customer may be considered fraudulent if any of the following scenarios are met:
- Customer doesn't reply to the payment verification mail sent by StudentZone.
- Customer fails to produce adequate documents during the payment details verification
- Misuse of another customer's phone/email
- Customer uses invalid email and phone no.
- Customer returns the wrong product
- Customer refuses to pay for an order
Cancellation of Bulk Orders
StudentZone may cancel any orders that classify as 'Bulk Order' under certain criteria at any stage of the product delivery. An order can be classified as 'Bulk Order' if it meets with the below mentioned criteria, and any additional criteria as defined by StudentZone:
Products ordered are not for self-consumption but for commercial resale
- Multiple orders placed for same product at the same address, depending on the product category
- Bulk quantity of the same product ordered
- Invalid address given in order details
- Any malpractice used to place the order
Process for Pilferage Claim
If a customer raises a complaint for partial item/partial order through Customer Care
The customer is supposed to claim for pilferage within 48 hours of delivery failing which the claim will not be entertained
1. An Email will be sent seeking/providing following information:
- Short description of the case (A few questions will be asked to help us understand the scenario)
- The snapshots of the packet and other box (If any) (Try to cover the sides which look tampered/damaged as per the customer)
- The refund for prepaid orders will be done after investigation which usually requires 8-10 business days. The process will include investigation with the concerned departments
2. The customer may not be liable for a refund if he/she falls in any of the scenarios stated below:
- Customer fails to provide adequate information about the case
- Customer fails to provide snapshots of the packet and box (if any)
- If an opened delivery was received, pilferage claims must be made the same day
- Customer must not dispose the packaging for 3-4 days post delivery. We might need to pick-up your packaging for investigation at our end.
